Becoming a CEL Champion is one of the beneficial steps you can take to support CEL and the individuals we serve.  CEL Champions provide a steady stream of income – helping us to ensure that we are able to give the best and most impactful programming to our members.

Monthly giving is a convenient way to give.  Your donations are automatically withdrawn from your checking account or charges to your credit card at the same time every month.  Monthly amounts are easy to manage and you will receive a single tax receipt for your total giving in January.

The Center for Enriched Living does not rely on government funding.  We rely on donors like you.

Consider a charitable contribution of long-term appreciated securities – i.e. stocks, bonds and/or mutual funds that have realized significant appreciation over time—for a tax efficient means of giving. When securities are donated to CEL through a stock transfer rather than sold, the capital gains taxes that would have resulted from selling the securities no longer apply. The more the securities have appreciated, the greater the tax saving.

Ensure that CEL is here for years to come by including us in your estate plan. By continuing your support beyond your lifetime you are providing long-term financial security for CEL.

There are several ways to phrase a will provision for the Center for Enriched Living’s future benefit so it will meet the requirements for a valid bequest, and accurately reflect your wishes as to CEL’s ultimate use of your legacy.

Sample Bequest Language*

Sample Bequest of Specific Amount: “I give, devise, and bequeath $_____ to The Center for Enriched Living, located in Riverwoods, IL,”

Sample Bequest of Specific Percent: “I give, devise, and bequeath _____ % of my estate to The Center for Enriched Living, located in Riverwoods, IL,”

Sample Bequest of Remainder of Estate:

“I give, devise, and bequeath to The Center for Enriched Living, located in Riverwoods, all [or state the fraction or percentage] of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, both real and personal.”
